Raymond Weil Millesime Jubilee Marks 50 Years in Blue

The Raymond Weil Millesime Jubilee celebrates the brand’s 50th anniversary with a 39mm case, layered blue dial, and 62-hour chronograph movement.

To mark its 50th anniversary, Raymond Weil presents the Millesime Jubilee, a chronograph limited to 500 pieces. The stainless-steel watch takes design cues from The Fifty, introduced earlier this year, but replaces its hand-wound movement with a self-winding caliber.

Inspired by The Fifty

The Fifty marked the beginning of Raymond Weil’s 50th-anniversary celebrations. Limited to just 50 pieces, the model combined a detailed, multilayered dial with an elegant 37mm stainless-steel case. The Millesime Jubilee takes up this design language while adding a more contemporary dimension.

Measuring 39mm in diameter and 12.9mm thick, its stainless-steel case is slightly larger than that of The Fifty. Alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces create a carefully balanced play of light. A slim bezel, mushroom-shaped chronograph pushers, and box-style sapphire crystal reinforce the watch’s neo-vintage character. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.

A Refined Blue Dial

The bicompax dial follows the detailed construction of The Fifty while introducing a more pronounced use of color. It consists of four separately produced components that are individually finished before being assembled. The result is a layered surface with distinct levels and textures. The hour markers are applied to a silver-toned ring with an opaline finish. Like the obelisk-shaped hour and minute hands, they are coated with Super-LumiNova for green luminescence in the dark. At the center, the light-blue sector dial features a striped pattern with alternating ridges that reflect the light differently. Two separately produced midnight-blue subdials display the running seconds and chronograph minutes. Their azurage finish gives them a clearly defined appearance against the lighter dial. A tachymeter scale is printed on the azuré-finished rehaut, allowing the wearer to calculate average speed over a known distance.

A Self-Winding Chronograph with a 62-Hour Power Reserve

The Millesime Jubilee is powered by the Sellita-based RW5030 self-winding chronograph caliber. The finely finished movement features a skeletonized rotor and provides a 62-hour power reserve. The watch is paired with a midnight-blue calfskin strap and a stainless-steel pin buckle.

The Raymond Weil Millesime Jubilee is limited to 500 pieces and priced at $4,275.
